Every fibre we use is selected for its exceptional fineness—soft, light, and precious. Sourced exclusively from the underfleece of Capra Hircus goats, our cashmere embodies the essence of quiet luxury.

Our partner mill, the foremost producer of baby goat cashmere in Inner Mongolia, crafts each piece with unrivalled precision and devotion. This mastery ensures a level of consistency, purity, and refinement that defines arch4.

In the extreme climate of Inner Mongolia, Capra Hircus kids develop a second, hidden layer beneath their outer coat—an ultra-fine underfleece that traps air and protects against the cold. This soft mantle is the source of all cashmere.

Baby Cashmere, however, is a treasure of unparalleled rarity. It can be gathered only once in a lifetime, when the kids are less than a year old. The result is just 30 grams of whisper-light fibre per animal, measuring an exceptional 13.5 microns in diameter.
